On Wednesday 13th February, the whole school took part in a Pop Art Day. Each class looked at the work of a famous pop artist: Eduardo Paolozzi, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, Peter Blake, David Hockney, Jasper Johns and Burton Morris. The children then created a collage in the style of the artist. The aim of the day was for the children to have ownership over their work through colour choices and design.  As you can see below, some fantastic art work was produced in true pop art style – bold, bright and fun!
